This page describes the data processed by the Cavalera Forge Discord application. It does not cover the Cavalera.news newsletter, which has its own policy.
The service is published and operated in a personal capacity by the author of Cavalera.news. Contact: contact@cavalera.news
The application does not read channel messages. It does not hold the Discord permission granting access to message content, and only reacts to its own commands and buttons.
Running the service and answering your request, moderating abusive or inappropriate use, and understanding which features are most used in order to improve the tool. No data is sold, rented or passed to third parties for commercial purposes.
When the assistant is enabled on a server and you ask it a question, the text of that question is sent to a language model provider to produce the answer. Only the question is sent, never your identity or username.
The text of your questions and searches is kept for ninety days, then deleted automatically. Aggregated counters, which no longer allow the content to be reconstructed, are kept beyond that for statistical purposes.
Only the service operator accesses this data, through an administration console protected by authentication. Data is hosted in France on a dedicated server.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object. To exercise these rights, write to contact@cavalera.news stating your Discord user ID. A deletion request is handled within thirty days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority.
This policy may change. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page.
